Message To start things off, I changed my oil on Saturday with the
same weight oil I always use 20w50. I have changed my oil
religiously about every 3K miles my self for the past 6
yrs I've owned my Z. So that means I've done this a few
dozen times. Just wanted to put that out there to weed out
the "did you do it right" answers.

The first time driving after the oil change was right
around the corner so like a 5 minute drive to a friend's
house. I had to go back to my house and when I got back I
turned it off, went inside for like 5 minutes. Came back
outside to restart. When I turned the key the car started
but the RPM's shot up to around 2K then dropped off and
the car almost shut off but managed to flutter up to a
constant idle. The car now idles high around 1100.

I have found the car starts fine when cold but after it's
warm and does the thing where it revs to 2K and almost
shuts off. I've also notice when it's warm, whenever I
press the throttle, the rpm's drop and then will rev up
depending on how much gas I give it. I took a video of it
so you can see what I mean. Sorry, I don't remember how to
do the La-z-link, so copy/paste.

I have yet to pull codes because I just haven't had the
time to do it. Off the top of your collective heads', what
could possibly be causing this from an oil change? Also a
couple of side notes: I've already orderded both temp.
sensor & sending unit sensor just because the gauge isn't
reading right sometimes. Another note, I've been having a
problem with when the car is cold it shifts perfectly.
After about 1 run through the gears at normal non-
aggresive driving, whenever I shift, it's almost as if the
car stalls briefly then catches and starts going again. If
I shift gears and stomp on the gas, it's boggs down really
bad. I don't know if all of these are related or separate
problems but I wanted to mention it to give as much info
as possible.

As always, thanks for any and all of your help!
